RESNET Training
The rater candidates pursue various topics during their period of study. There is versatile classroom training and field training that is given to the rater candidate during the period of the study. A combination of online learning and onsite field training could also be opted. After pursuing them in the RESNET training program they would be attending a RESNET HERS Rater examination. The test will be online. The test comprises of 50 questions. These questions are either true or false questions or multiple choice questions. In two hours they have to complete the test.
The pass percentage is 80%. Majority of the questions are from building science and home heat transfers. A certain percentage of questions are asked from each category of the training synopsis. A rater candidate must lucratively finish the training via a RESNET endorsed Rater Training Provider and must pass the examination and the reviews. Thus once obtaining a minimum of passing score of 80% or more the rater candidate would be certified by a RESNET Accredited Rating Provider. RESNET certification ensures the building energy performance. Precisely, after successfully pursuing the curriculum of the study, clearing the examination and by completing the training one can become a certified RESNET Rater.
